Review by hotel critic
Nestled in the vibrant heart of Prague, Almanac X Alcron proved to be a culinary haven where guests and locals alike converge for memorable dining experiences. Stepping into the award-winning La Rotonde transported me to a world of gastronomic delight. As a historian with a penchant for authenticity, I was thrilled to savor traditional Czech dishes like svíčková gravy and schnitzel meticulously prepared to perfection. However, what truly captivated my palate were Roman Paulus' hypermodern creations presented as exquisite degustation menus. Each dish, including the Lobster bisque with sweet corn and poached egg yolk, was a symphony of flavors that left a lasting impression. The ambiance of the restaurant complemented the culinary journey beautifully, enhancing the overall dining experience. While breakfast may have fallen short of expectations, the unparalleled culinary innovations offered at La Rotonde truly set a high standard for gourmet dining in Prague. Almanac X Alcron's culinary prowess undeniably makes it a must-visit destination for discerning epicureans seeking culinary adventures.
